RNS College of Nursing was founded in 2007 & has been recognized by Govt of Karnataka, Karnataka Nursing Council, Indian Nursing Council, & Affiliated to RGUHS, Karnataka. The man behind the success of the R.N.S Group is Dr. R.N.Shetty.
A vision is more a dream. Powered by passion and guided by thinking it carries the promise of making the dreams into reality. Dr.R.N.Shetty is a living visionary. The myriads of Engineering marvels, Hotels, Ceramic Industry, Power Projects, Automobile ventures, Hospitals and Educational Institutions are standing testimony of his that have been the reality. A vision that is rare zeal and precise in conception and implementation.
Born on 15th August 1928, at Murudeshwar in Uttara Kannada District of Karnataka state, he commenced his career as a civil Contractor at Sirsi, aiming to be big was habitual to him. In 1961 his trust with destiny began. It saw the birth of a partnership firm called R.N.Shetty & Co. Today the Company has grown up into one of the leading Construction Companies in India executing Project after Project comprising of Highways, Bridges, Tunnels, Canales Dams, Power Projects and Buildings.

We train aspiring students to develop professional attitude and skillful abilities & for emergency services. We awaken humanity in them so that their passion becomes compassion, concern becomes care and care becomes dedication.
RNS School of Nursing ( GNM) was started in the year 2005 and RNS College of Nursing (BSc N. Basic) was started in the year 2007 with the fore sight and vision of our Dr. R N Shetty to prepare professional nurses in order to improve standards of nursing services through quality education.
We have grown to be one among the largest nursing institution in the country and the best in the state of Karnataka, under the guidance and support of Management of R N Shetty trust. We offer programs starting from GNM, B.Sc. Nursing(Basic). Our college has recognition from Karnataka State Nursing Council and Indian Nursing council, New Delhi.
College is equipped with qualified and competent teachers, good physical infrastructure, Library and students get opportunity for clinical learning in parent hospital with 100 beds.
Nursing students do have ample of opportunity for curricular and extra- curricular activities as college has excellent facilities for the same. We are proud to say that all our alumni are on job in various hospitals and nursing institutes in Karnataka state and other states including various countries around globe.

It is really a great pleasure to provide a platform for nursing students in different streams at RNS College and School of Nursing.
Here we strive to provide an environment that is basically to mould the students with discipline and kindness to serve the society and also to provide standard education to ignite the spark of creativity and curiosity in students since they are the future nurses and thereby they can handle all situations throughout their life.
